Overview: We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Technical Specialist to promote and support sales team to sell our mining flotation products. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in mineral processing, especially flotation, combined with strong sales and relationship management skills to drive business growth in the mining industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote flotation reagents, equipment, and related products to mining companies and processing plants.
- Provide technical support and consultation to clients regarding flotation processes and product applications.
- Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations for clients.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable product solutions to enhance mineral recovery and process efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and potential clients.
- Identify new market opportunities and potential clients for flotation products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to stay updated on product developments and best practices.
- Prepare technical proposals and reports tailored to client requirements.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions to gain industry update and development of products
Qualifications:
- Metallurgical or chemical educational background, preferred metallurgical engineer
- Advanced English
- Willing to travel to mine site to conduct testwork
- At least 5 years proven experience in the mining industry, specifically with flotation reagents or related products and experience in sulfide ore flotation process
- Strong technical understanding of flotation processes and mineral processing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
